Today, I’m thankful for trips and airplanes. Tomorrow morning, bright and early, I’ll be heading out for a trip to a preacher conference. I’m going to get to be with a bunch of preachers as we study Ezekiel. I’m excited. However, it means I won’t be able to check in here until next Monday or Tuesday. I love getting to take a trip now and then, getting to see old friends, learn new things. And I especially love that I can take this trip on an airplane instead of having to drive for hours on end. It’s going to be a great time.
My goal is to be present at this conference. To listen well. To ask good questions. To avoid quarreling. That last one is a hard one for me. However, I think I can accomplish it.
Glorious God, thank You for the opportunity to travel, to fly, and to learn this weekend. Humble me and teach me through Your Word and Your spokesmen.
