Today, I’m thankful for my friends. Over the past week, I’ve had multiple times to rely on friends. Last week, I was facing some severe temptation. I called a friend. Monday, I was having car trouble. I have a friend who is a mechanic. I can trust him. I know I’m getting my money’s worth. Also on Monday, I had another friend who learned about a going out of business book sale, knew I’d be interested, he called me. Not only that. When he found out my car was out of commission, he picked me up and we went together. Yesterday, I had to go pick up the car from the shop. A friend was willing to interrupt his day to take me. Friends are great. God has give me good ones. I’m thankful.
My goal today is to be a friend as much as I like having friends.
Lord, God, I pray that I will counted as one of Your friends. Thank You for being mine. Thank You for giving me friends. I cannot make it day to day without You and I know You work through them. Thank You. I am all Yours today, Lord; do with me as You will.
