Today, I am thankful for questions. Some questions are hard because I just don’t know the answer. Some are hard because they challenge my thinking. Others are hard because they pinpoint an error. But some, and these are especially the ones I like today, are awesome because they are questions I’ve never thought of before. My son asked me one of those last night. He basically asked, “If people couldn’t die before the fall, why was there food? They couldn’t starve to death.” WOW!!! What a great question. Think about what that means for eating and God’s original intent for the blessing of food. I love questions. I learn from them.

My goal today is to ask and answer questions. I want to keep my eyes open for questions I have never thought to ask even if they challenge all my assumptions. Further, my goal is to follow the true answers wherever they lead.

Great God in heaven, You have all the answers. You know the questions before they are even asked. Help me know the questions that need to be asked. Help me discover the answers from Your Word and Your Truth. Strengthen me with the courage to live by those answers no matter what anyone else thinks. I am all Yours today; do with me as You will.

Please, in order to encourage your fellow travelers, share your gratitude, goals, and prayers for today in the comments section below.
