Today, I’m thankful for my children. I have four from ages 21 down to 11. They are all at different stages of maturity and development. They are all at different stages of flexing their wings for independence. They all do different things that really frustrate the mess out of me. They all do different things that really impress the daylights out of me. We’ve had lots of struggles. We’ve had lots of fun. I’ve messed them up in too many ways. But I know Jesus can save each one of them. I’m thankful God let me have them.
My goal today is to be present with my two children who are at home. My goal is to pray fervently for all of my children. My goal today is to love my children rather than seeking my convenience.
Gracious Father, thank You for my children. I haven’t not fathered them as well as You would. I ask You to father them. I ask You to bring people into their lives who will bring truth and support for walking with You. Help me to shine the light of Your gospel into their lives. I am all Yours today; do with me as You will.
