Today, I’m thankful people here are gracious. Goofed up yesterday’s post. Didn’t tag it right. So it didn’t even show up until late in the afternoon because I figured out my mistake. Hope it didn’t mess up your day too much. But I’m also thankful to know I’m not the only one who makes mistakes. And that makes me thankful to know my salvation isn’t depending on me being perfect today (or yesterday). So here I am again today, thinking about what I’m thankful for.
My goal today is to extend the same kind of grace to others. I tend to treat myself based on my intentions, not my actions. I treat others based on their actions, not their intentions. That isn’t fair at all. Not to mention, I have had bad intentions before and want to receive grace. I want to extend that same grace to others today.
Gracious God, thank You for saving me in my imperfection. I can’t bring perfection to You. I can’t bring enough obedience to You to save me. Thank You for saving me by Your Son and His blood. Help me pay that grace forward to those around me. I’m all Yours today. Do with me as You will.
