Today, I’m thankful for friends. The last couple of days have been tough. I’m thankful for friends I can call before I mess up, when I mess up, after I mess up. I’m thankful for friends who walk the journey with me. Safe friends who don’t look the other way, but don’t abandon are awesome. When I surround myself by these kinds of friends, I edge toward victory.
My goal today is to be a friend. I want to be honest, transparent, and safe. I want to be encouraging, but also provoke to love and good deeds. I want to be the kind of friend to others I want them to be to me.
Glorious God, thank You for my friends. Thank You for being my friend. Make me a friend. I am all Yours today; do with me as You will.
