Today, I’m super thankful. I had a rough weekend. The last couple of weeks have been tough in the Crozier family. No need to get into all the details. But they got to the point on Sunday night and all day Monday believing that one of my sons had just straight up disobeyed and rebelled against his mother and me. We both spent our evening on Sunday and day on Monday hurt and angry. Then we were finally able to speak with our son again. Lo and behold, it was actually all just a straight up misunderstanding and miscommunication. He wasn’t rebelling. He wasn’t disobeying. I’m thankful for that. I’m also thankful that while we were ready to take extreme disciplinary measures, we didn’t fly off the handle.
My goal today is to be patient with my family. I don’t want to blow up and yell and holler. I want to maintain peace even when I’m angry.
Dear God, thank You for my family. Thank You for patience and peace you are giving. Help me love my family as You love them and love me. I am all Yours today; do with me as you will.
