Today, I’m thankful for breathing. Sure, there are plenty of things I might get frustrated I don’t have. However, today, I do have breath. Even more, I’m thankful that on the day I am no longer breathing, I’m not going to die. Obviously, my body will die, but I won’t. In Jesus Christ, I have life that goes beyond breathing. How awesome is that?
My goal today is to use my breath for God’s glory and to serve His people. I am able to move. I am able to walk. I am able to exist because of God’s on-going gift. I want to return that gift to Him for His glory because He is the one who should be glorified for all that I have and am.
Holy Father, thank You. Everything I give to You is only because You have first blessed me. I only bring back to You what was yours to begin with. May I use my all for You. I am all Yours today; do with me as You will.
