Today, like David in Psalm 141:5, I’m thankful for the rebukes of brethren and friends. They are painful to be sure. When first administered, I want to run from them and rebel against them. But when they sink in and I learn from them, I’m always thankful.
My goal today is to maintain a positive attitude toward rebukes, to learn and to grow.
Glorious God, thank You for brethren who care enough about me to take me to task when necessary. Help me listen with open ears and heart. You are a great and awesome God. I am all Yours today, do with me as You will.
