Today, I’m thankful for my H2H group. That’s what we call our small groups in my congregation. It’s the initials of house-to-house. Anyway, tonight I get to meet with them and I’m thankful. We’re just getting started together, and I am very hopeful this is going to be a great group of Christians to grow with, share with, pray with. I’m so thankful God provides brothers and sisters to help me walk through this life.
My goal today is to be very present with my group when we meet. I also want to be a present leader in the lives of these Christians who have agreed to walk with me in discipleship. I don’t want to just lead weekly meetings, but lead a group of disciples to a better walk with the Lord.
All-powerful God, give me wisdom to walk with my brothers and sisters. Help me lead as a servant just as Your Son does. Help me gain strength humbly from those who are willing to walk with me. May I be honest with them regarding my own needs and struggles. I am all Yours today; do with me as You will.
