Today, I’m thankful for medicine. I’ve been sick the past couple of days. If it weren’t for medicine, I would have gotten ZERO sleep. As it is, I can still somewhat function because I’m taking some medicine. I’m even more thankful that it is over-the-counter medicine instead of big-bucks medicine. Either way, I’m so thankful God has given us insight and know-how to come up with medicines.

My goal is to take care of myself, but do whatever I can to stay present with my family and still get as many of my responsibilities done as possible.

Gracious God, thank You for the knowledge and wisdom and insight you’ve given people to make amazing advances in medicine and technology. They have been so helpful and I’m reaping the benefits right now. However, help me always remember that Jesus is the bread of life. My life doesn’t come from medicine. It comes from you. I am all Yours today; do with me as You will.
