Today, I’m thankful for the presence of God. I examined Psalm 73:25 with one of my discipleship groups this week. What a reminder? “Whom do I have in heaven but you? I desire nothing on earth besides you.” God is all I need. He is all I want. And through Jesus Christ, I have Him. Despite my sins. Despite my failures. Despite my flaws. I have God. He is with me. I’m thankful.
My goal today is to live as though God is with me. To live with Him as my highest goal and my greatest good.
Glorious God, whom do I have in heaven but You? I desire nothing on earth besides You. Please, increase my faith to actually mean that and to actually live that. Remove all other desires and distractions. I am all Yours today; do with me as You will.
