This weekend, I’m thankful for my planner. I still use a paper planner. But electronic planners are cool for those who use them. I’m thankful that I have enough going on in my life that I need the planner to keep up with it. I’m thankful that I have an ability to organize and keep up with it. I know it sound weird, but I’m thankful for my planner. I’m thinking about that this weekend, because for the first week in a while, I didn’t use my planner very well this week and it shows. So, I’m thankful I have it and can get back to using it. I know how beneficial it really is.
My goal is to stay on task this weekend and in the coming week. My goal is to lay out the plan and follow the plan. My goal is also to be flexible. I can plan and God will laugh. But when God changes the plans, I’ve found having a plan actually allows that flexibility to keep from throwing everything completely off kilter.
Holy God, thank You for today. Thank You for what You let me get done in a day. Thank You for all the opportunities you have given me. Strengthen and discipline me to follow through. I am all yours today; do with me as You will.
