Today, I’m thankful for camping. Though I admit, I haven’t gotten to the campground yet. We are planning to go tonight. I may feel differently tomorrow. But today, I’m thankful that my wife and daughter and I are going out with friends tonight to camp. It’s been a long time since we’ve done that, and we always liked it.
My goal is to be present with my family. My even bigger goal is to not get angry when inconvenient things happen. I want to keep calm and just enjoy whatever happens.
Holy God, thank You for the opportunity to have a trip with family and friends. Help me stay present with my family and friends no matter what crises or inconveniences come up. I’m all yours today; do with me as You will.
