This weekend I’m thankful for long time friends. I am waiting for one of my best friends to show up and spend the week here. He’ll be in and out, spending time with his son who attends college in the area. But we’ll get to spend some face time together and that is great. He has been one of my biggest helps, supporters, and strengths as I grow spiritually and grow in victory over sin and temptation. I can call him any time. And this weekend I get to spend time with him. Can’t wait.
My goal this weekend is to be a good friend. I want to be the kind of person others are grateful for and grateful to see even if it has been a long time.
Father, God, You are the greatest friend. Thank You for being my friend. Thank You for letting me be Yours. Grow me to be a friend of Yours as Abraham was. I am all Yours today; do with me as You will.
