This weekend, I’m thankful for my house-to-house group. That’s what we call our small groups we have in my home congregation. Right now, my family and I get to meet weekly with four other families to encourage one another in discipleship growth. Yesterday (Thursday), I got to meet with the group and also with one of the other couples. Today (Friday), I’m getting to meet with another of the couples. I love this group because we get to draw closer to brothers and sisters, encouraging one another, challenging one another, growing one another, being honest with one another. It is helping me grow, and I believe it is allowing me to help others grow. I’m thankful.
My goal today is to keep my brothers and sisters on my mind and in my prayers even though we are not meeting today.
Holy Father, thank You for my brothers and sisters, especially the ones I get to be closer to. Help me be a good friend and fellow disciple to them and help them to be the same for me. Use us to grow each other, to grow our congregation, and to grow Your kingdom. I’m all Yours today, Lord; do with me as You will.
