Today, I’m thankful for the counselors I’ve had in my life. Some were professionals, others were simply good at counsel. However, they have all helped me. They have helped me with my personal life, my sins, my struggles. They have helped in my marriage. They have helped with parenting. All the way around, God has given me good counsel through the people He has placed in my life.
My goal is to heed the good counsel God has sent my way. Additionally, I want to give good counsel when others seek it from me.
Almighty God, please remove all the logs and specks from my own eyes that I may give godly counsel to others. May I never again think more highly of myself than I ought. When I work with others, fill me with humility that you may be glorified. I am all Yours today; do with me as You will.
