Today, I’m thankful for friends. I have friends I can confess to. I have friends I can share struggles with. I have friends I can pray with. I have friends who pray for me. I have friends who know everything about me and are still my friends. If I didn’t have friends, I don’t think I’d make it through this journey.
My goal is to be a friend today. To be a friend to my wife. To be a friend to my children. To be a friend to my co-worker. To be a friend to my brothers and sisters. To be a friend to my friend. There is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. My goal today is to be the kind of friend I want my friends to be.
Almighty God, thank You for being my friend. Thank You for letting me be Your friend. Thank You for sending Jesus to befriend me by His death, burial, and resurrection. Thank you for bringing friends into my life. Make me the kind of friend Jesus is. I am all Yours today, do with me as You will.
