In our darkest place where we go with our depression, there are many lessons to learn. It is there we come face to face with life and with ourselves. It is not a place to stay, but a place to learn. David was a depressed Bible character. He fled for his life on several occasions, knew the tragedy of sin, the joy of victory, and the power of walking with God. His high alpha notes on the harp, writing poetry/music, meditation, taking time with nature, and accepting God’s will were just some of the techniques he used to deal with life on life’s terms.
