The heat of summer…skimpy dressers…lots of free time…feeling frisky… a perfect combinations of triggers for self soothing with porn and sex with self. How do we make it through this day? Develop a plan (no plan is a plan to fail), if something is tempting have courage and tell someone (a sponsor, a peer supporter, accountability partner, your spouse), get to a recovery meeting, read in recovery literature, pray, hang out with males, play a favorite sport (besides girl watching, journal, identify leisure activities for the future, get involved in a project). What other things can you add? What helps?
